Kata - Heian Sho Dan

Yoi - ready stance facing towards the north

1. Turn 90 to the left into a left foot forward front stance facing west and execute a left low block.

2. Step forward into a right foot forward front stance and punch to the mid section with the right fist.

3. Turn 180 to the right into a right foot forward front stance facing east and execute a right low block.

4. Bring the right foot back towards the left into a natural stance (T-stance) and execute a downward hammer fist strike with the right fist.

5. Step forward into a left foot forward front stance and punch to the mid section with the left fist.

6. Turn 90 to the left into a left foot forward front stance facing north and execute a left low block.

7. Without stepping, execute a high palm block with the left hand.

8. Step forward into a right foot forward front stance and execute a right high block.

9. Step forward into a left foot forward front stance and execute a left high block.

10. Step forward into a right foot forward front stance and execute a right high block, "KIAI."

11. Turn 270 to the left into a left foot forward front stance facing east and execute a left low block.

12. Step forward into a right foot forward front stance and punch to the mid section with the right fist.

13. Turn 180 to the right into a right foot forward front stance facing west and execute a right low block.

14. Step forward into a left foot forward front stance and punch to the mid section with the left fist.

15. Turn 90 to the left into a left foot forward front stance facing south and execute a left low block.

16. Step forward into a right foot forward front stance and punch to the mid section with the right fist.

17. Step forward into a left foot forward front stance and punch to the mid section with the left fist.

18. Step forward into a right foot forward front stance and punch to the mid section with the right fist, "KIAI."

19. Turn 270 to the left into a left foot forward back stance facing west and execute a left, low double knife hand block.

20. Turn 45 to the right into a right foot forward back stance facing north-west and execute a right, low double knife hand block.

21. Turn 135 to the right into a right foot forward back stance facing east and execute a right, low double knife hand block.

22. Turn 45 to the left into a left foot forward back stance facing north-east and execute a left, low double knife hand block.

Yame - Turn 45 towards the left and return to ready stance facing north.
