Kata - Heian Ni Dan

Yoi - ready stance facing towards the north

1. Turn 90 to the left into a left foot forward back stance facing west. Execute a left outside forearm block and a right arm high block.

2. Without stepping, shift weight forward onto the left foot and execute a right uppercut punch while covering the face by bringing the left fist to the right ear.

3. Pick up the left foot, rotate the hips to the left and bring both fists to the left hip. Step down with the left foot into a horse stance facing north, looking west, and execute a left side body punch towards the west.

4. Turn 180 to the right into a right foot forward back stance facing east and execute a combination right outside hammer fist block and left high block.

5. Without stepping, shift weight forward onto the right foot and execute a left uppercut punch while covering the face by bringing the right fist to the left ear.

6. Pick up the right foot, rotate the hips to the right and bring both fists to the right hip. Step down with the right foot into a horse stance facing north, looking east, and execute a right side body punch towards the east.

7. Move the left foot along the floor in a circular motion into a natural stance facing east then raise the right foot into a crane stance facing east and looking south.

8. Execute a right side kick towards the south.

9. Step down with the right foot into a left foot forward back stance facing north and execute a left double knife hand block.

10. Step forward into a right foot forward back stance and execute a right double knife hand block.

11. Step forward into a left foot forward back stance and execute a left double knife hand block.

12. Step forward into a right foot forward front stance and execute a combination left downward palm block and right spear hand strike, "KIAI."

13. Turn 270 to the left into a left foot forward back stance facing east and execute a left double knife hand block.

14. Turn 45 to the right into a right foot forward back stance facing south-east and execute a right double knife hand block.

15. Turn 135 to the right into a right foot forward back stance facing west and execute a right double knife hand block.

16. Turn 45 to the left into a left foot forward back stance facing south-west and execute a left double knife hand block.

17. Turn 45 to the left into a left foot forward front stance, bring the left arm across the face with the palm out and bring the right fist across the body to the left hip. Bring the left fist down to the left hip and execute a right outside block.

18. Execute a right front kick.

19. Bring the right foot down into a right foot forward front stance and execute a left middle punch.

20. Without stepping, bring the right arm across the face with the palm out and bring the left fist across the body to the right hip. Bring the right fist down to the right hip and execute a left outside block.

21. Execute a left front kick.

22. Bring the left foot down into a left foot forward front stance and execute a right middle punch.

23. Step forward into a right foot forward front stance and execute a right reinforced outside block.

24. Turn 270 to the left into a left foot forward front stance facing west and execute a left low block.

25. Without stepping, execute a left high palm block.

26. Turn 45 to the right into a right foot forward front stance facing north-west and execute a right high block.

27. Turn 135 to the right into a right foot forward front stance facing east and execute a right low block.

28. Without stepping, execute a right high palm block.

29. Turn 45 to the left into a left foot forward front stance facing north-east and execute a left high block, "KIAI."

Yame - Turn 45 towards the left and return to ready stance facing north.
